Important Rebate Update – Dual Fuel Rebate Drops to $5,000 on May 1

Please note: as of May 1, 2025, the dual fuel heating system rebate from Fortis BC is being reduced to $5,000.

To qualify for the current $10,000 rebate, the following deadlines must be met:

If your installation is completed on or before April 30, 2025:

• The invoice must be dated on or before April 30, 2025

• The commissioning sheet (submitted via mobile app) must be submitted on or before April 30, 2025

•  

If your installation is completed between May 1–31, 2025:

• You must provide a quote dated on or before April 30, 2025

• You must provide proof of a paid deposit on or before April 30, 2025

• The invoice and commissioning sheet submission must both be dated on or before May 31, 2025.

Note: Rebate applications must be submitted within 6 months of the invoice date.
